Part of Blackwood’s Universal Library of Standard Authors.  Printed in Glasgow by Dunn and Wright.  Illustrated with four etchings in the Chaucer section and four in the Crabbe section. Marbled end papers.  Red leather with elaborate, gilt, stamped designs on both covers and spine.  Gilt lettering on spine.  This same book was published by New York: George Routledge and Sons, n.d.  with a green beveled cover with gilt lettering on the spine.
